Calder Mountain Lodge is located in the tiny fishing town of Point Baker, on the north shore of Prince of Wales island in southeast Alaska. Here you can enjoy both salt and fresh water fishing, and can easily access the protected Alaskan Inside Passage. Point Baker is near Petersburg, Alaska, and is accessible only by boat or float plane. Enjoy the peace, quiet and serenity while being pampered with top-of-the-line accommodations and delicious dining in our newly constructed lodge.
On the main floor of the lodge are the dining room, kitchen, buffet area and gift shop. Guests are afforded a magnificent view of the bay and Kupreanof Island, and can watch fishing boats and float planes coming and going as they dine.
Our guest rooms are located on the second floor of our main lodge, and are comfortably furnished with premium beds, lounge chairs, televisions and private bathrooms. Each room opens onto a spacious deck, where our guests can relax and enjoy the fabulous views of forests, islands, and inlets.
