Calder Mountain Lodge is only accessible by boat or floatplane.  Despite the remoteness of the lodge, guests are thoroughly pampered with top notch accommodations and gourmet dining in our World-Class Alaska fishing lodge.  Our Alaska wilderness lodge features nicely appointed guest rooms that are located on the second floor of the main lodge and are furnished with very comfortable beds, lounge chairs, televisions, and private bathrooms. The rooms open onto a spacious deck where guests can relax and soak in the gorgeous views of the surrounding forest, islands, and bays that surround Point Baker.

King Salmon are most plentiful from mid-June through early July, followed by Silver Salmon from July to September. Prince of Wales Island Halibut fishing is excellent all season long.  You can just walk outside and catch quality Alaska salmon and halibut!
