Our Southeast Alaska Lodge

Calder Mountain Lodge is located in the tiny fishing village of Pt. Baker on the northern tip of Prince of Wales Island, one of the finest saltwater and fresh water fishing locations in southeast Alaska. No roads go to Pt. Baker; access is only by boat or float plane. Despite the remoteness of the lodge, guests are thoroughly pampered with top notch accommodations and delicious dining in our beautiful lodge.

Five Star Comfort

Nicely appointed guests’ rooms are located on the second floor of the main lodge and are furnished with very comfortable beds, lounge chairs, televisions, and private bathrooms. The rooms open onto a spacious deck where guests can relax and soak in the gorgeous views of the surrounding forest, islands, and bays in Southeast Alaska.

The lower level houses a dining room, kitchen, buffet area, gift shop, utility room, and restroom. The dining room is finished in knotty pine and features a spectacular view looking out across the bay toward distant Kupreanof Island. Guests can watch fishing boats and float planes come and go as they dine.

Our friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive staff are dedicated to making your experience at Calder Mountain Lodge a very special one. Join us for a week-long vacation that will make memories for a lifetime!
